Klein Karoo Guest Farm with fun activities
Karoowater Guest Farm is a holiday resort in the Western Cape on a Klein Karoo farm.
Our guests mostly enjoy the open ‘stretching’ landscapes and unique ‘Gamka’ mountains while sitting on our restaurant deck overlooking our ‘plaasdam’. This is no ordinary ‘plaasdam’ with its bright orange and ‘black-&-white’ koi fish swimming around and different species of ducks & geese gracefully floating their way to their next catch.
Apart from chilling on our restaurant deck, there are enough activities for the family. Children can swim, or relax in a hot spring bath after an adrenaline-filled adventure…
Day Visitors
By appointment only and subject to availability
Our facilities are open to day visitors, but we have limited availability; therefore, you must make a reservation. We allow no groups from 1 December till 15 January due to the number of guests staying at Karoowater. Individuals are still welcome to enquire.
- Only day visitors who made an appointment that was confirmed by Karoowater will be allowed on the guest farm.
Group Bookings:
Group bookings for Day Visiting or Camping/Accommodation are welcome, however only during ‘out of season’ periods.
- No group bookings during the period of 1 December to 15 January.
- No group bookings over school holidays or long weekends.

Swimming
A cold water swimming pool with a baby pool.
Hours for guests:
Monday – Sunday: 24 hours except for the water slide, which is open every day until 5pm.

Thursdays & Sundays: 8am to 1pm ONLY
Animals
Our animals are free to enjoy at no extra fees. Please respect them and do not feed them or tease them. Ask at our restaurant desk for fish food – children love to feed our Koi fish.
